Ethan Butera won’t be returning to action this season. After his good performances with the RSCA Futures, the 16-year old took part in the training camp of the first team in this winter break. Ethan played in the three friendly games, but suffered an injury to the knee after an unfortunate contact in the last friendly game against Rakow Częstochowa.
Ethan underwent surgery on the knee on Monday, which went well. His season is most likely over. The 16-year-old defender will now embark on intensive rehabilitation to get ready for next season.
