Coach Marink Reedijk is leaving RSC Anderlecht. Marink was appointed head coach of the RSCA Futures, our U23-team competing in the Challenger Pro League, last summer. After the current season, the management sat down with Marink to evaluate and hold talks regarding the future. After constructive talks, it was mutually agreed to part ways.
Marink Reedijk:
“It’s been a very enriching experience for me. I have had a good and constructive collaboration with the club management and I have had the privilege of working with fantastic talents, both within the player group and the staff. I would like to expressly thank them for that. The main objectives of developing players and providing with the club another season in the Challenger Pro League have also been achieved. I will now look for a challenge where I have the ambition to apply my experiences as a first-team coach.”
Academy Director Mikkel Hemmersam:
“First and foremost, we want to thank Marink for the good cooperation. Marink has done a good job in developing players & staff and clear progress has been made on several aspects. Marink now wants to pursue his ambition to lead a first team. We sincerely wish him all the best for the future.”
