RSC Anderlecht has appointed a new head coach for the RSCA Futures. Jelle Coen will take the lead of our U23s in their third season in the Challenger Pro League.
Jelle was T1 of Jong Genk last season and had gained experience before as youth coach at KV Mechelen for 13 seasons.
Jelle Coen will be assisted by a youth coach from our own ranks. René Peeters, who was head coach of our U18 last season, will be assistant coach alongside Jelle Coen. David Hubert, who was assistant coach of our RSCA Futures last season, will serve as head coach of the U18 this season.
Jelle Coen: "It is a true honor to become coach at such a great club as Anderlecht. I am really looking forward to working with the talents of this club. I believe in dynamic, attractive football with a solid defensive organisation and I want to pay special attention to the individual and collective development of the team."
Academy Director Mikkel Hemmersam: "Jelle is a young, promising coach who made his mark in the Challenger Pro League with KRC Genk last season. He fits our culture and we look forward to seeing him take the next steps with our talents this season."
