RSC Anderlecht strengths its back-line with Adryelson. The Brazilian central defender joins us on loan from Olympique Lyon until the end of the season. The deal also includes an option to buy. Adryelson will wear the number 34 at Sporting.
Adryelson is a 26-year-old central defender who kickstarted his career at Sport Recife in Brazil. He played 126 games there in the Brazilian first and second division.
In the summer of 2022, he made the move to Botafogo. After the 2023 season, he was included in the Brazilian team of the year. After a season and a half, he was acquired by Olympique Lyon in January 2024, who loaned him to Botafogo again in September. On his return to Botafogo, Adryelson was part of the team that was crowned Brazil's national champion last year. He also figured in the starting line-up in the Copa Libertadores final, that Botafogo won.
