This Saturday, RSCA took on FCSB, which it faced during last season's Conference League, in a friendly match in Swolgen in the Netherlands. To give all players as much playing time as possible, the match was played in two one-hour halves, each time with a short break after 45 minutes. RSC Anderlecht won 5-2 thanks to goals by Benito Raman (2), Anders Dreyer, Kristian Arnstad & Killian Sardella.
The Romanians opened the scpre after 15 minutes through Florinel Coman. Some minutes later, a cross by Benito Raman from the right was carried into the back of the net by the wind. FCSB again took the lead after 40 minutes thanks to a subtle backheel from Andrea Compagno, the Italian striker who scored at Lotto Park last year. The first hour ended even after Francis Amuzu managed to find the head of Benito Raman, who made his second of the afternoon.
For the second hour, a whole new squad entered the pitch. Brian Riemer brought 11 fresh names between the lines, who increasingly took the upper hand over the Romanians as the end of the match approached. Anders Dreyer made it 3-2, after which Kristian Arnstad finely made it 4-2 and an energetic Killian Sardella sealed the final score.
Goals: 14’ Coman (0-1), 17’ Raman (1-1), 39’ Compagno (1-2), 58’ Raman (2-2), 106’ Dreyer (3-2), 118’ Arnstad (4-2) & 120’ Sardella (5-2)
