The Pro League celebrates its 50th anniversary this season with its own Hall of Fame. The 10 greatest football icons since the inception of the Pro League in 1974 will be immortalized. The final list will be decided by the clubs and the fans.
For RSC Anderlecht, the following six players from different glorious periods made it to the shortlist: Robbie Rensenbrink, Frank Vercauteren, Luc Nilis, Enzo Scifo, Pär Zetterberg & Vincent Kompany. Other legends like Juan Lozano, Marc Degryse, Ludo Coeck, Mbark Boussoufa and many more were added to the impressive list of 57 candidates via other clubs or wildcards from the jury.
The Pro League Hall of Fame voting is now officially open. Fans can vote for their top three until Wednesday, October 16. The 10 legends who collect the most votes by 16 October will be immortalised in the Hall of Fame.
