RSC Anderlecht welcomes a new goalkeeper. Mads Kikkenborg joins us from Danish side Lyngby BK and has signed a 4.5-season contract.
Mads was formed at Esbjerg. After 21 games for the first team, he was plucked away by Lyngby in the summer of 2021. Mads became first goalkeeper there and went on to play 53 games for Lyngby. The 24-year-old, 1.97m tall goalkeeper is now making the permanent transfer to RSC Anderlecht.
CEO Sports Jesper Fredberg:
“With Mads, we’re adding a different profile and extra competition to our squad. He’s a tall goalkeeper with a big reach. Mads has developed quite quickly and strongly over the past two seasons, and we’re looking forward to seeing him develop further at RSC Anderlecht.”
