Justin Lonwijk strengthens our midfield. The 23-year-old Dutchman is joining us on loan from Dynamo Kiev for one season. The deal also includes an option to buy at the end of the season.
Justin is a central midfielder who made his way through the youth teams at Willem II and PSV. He also made his mark with the youth teams of Oranje. He made his debut for Jong PSV in 2017. At the age of 19, he left for FC Utrecht. There, he played in the qualification rounds of the Europa League with the first team and continued his development with Jong FC Utrecht.
Early 2021, Justin made the switch to Danish side Viborg FF. There, he quickly became a stronghold in midfield and played 60 games in a season and a half. It earned him a transfer to Dynamo Kiev in the summer of 2022. There, he featured in 18 games in the Ukrainian Premier Liga.
