Tomorrow, RSCA will play the return match of the semi-final of the Belgian Cup against Eupen. After a 2-2 draw in the first game, everything is still open. Coach Kompany looks ahead.
Vincent Kompany knows that Eupen proved to be a tough opponent in the first match. "We have to find a balance between what can hurt us and how we can hurt Eupen. Every gameplan is a mix of ambition and focussing on our own strengths, but at the same time we have to be wary of the opponent's strengths."
Obviously, the game tomorrow is a big one. "For me, there is no more stress than usual. There are no less important matches. If I can convey anything from my experience, it is that you have to deal with different emotions. The best approach is to focus on our tasks and handle this game like any other."
"That being said, the game means a lot. The stadium is sold out, the whole club and supporters are eager for tomorrow. We want to put in the best performance and, as always, we will go for the win. However, this does not mean that we should approach this game too emotionally. There's no point starting the game with any nerves. You have to live for it without putting too much pressure on yourself.”
