Libya's title holder Al Ahli Sporting Club was founded in 1950. The club is based in the capital, Tripoli. Its list of honours includes 10 cups (a national record) and 13 national titles. Only their Tripolitan neighbours Al-Ittihad do better with 18 titles. The club colours are green and white and represent independence, peace and hope for the country.
