From now on, fans will be using reusable cups. Last season, RSC Anderlecht conducted various tests to select the best system. With the help of the fans, who were later consulted, these tests led to the choice of the smart cup system (with an integrated RFID chip), which should also help reduce queues.
This new system will be gradually rolled out this season. To gather new feedback and smooth out any potential teething problems, the system will initially only be installed in Stand 1.

From this season onwards, beers will be served in 33cl cups. You will now pay €3.90 per beer, compared with €3 for 25cl in the past. The ratio is therefore slightly more favorable. From now on, buyers will pay a deposit of €1 per cup. If the cups are returned to the deposit tubes after consumption, the deposit will be refunded to the purchaser's payment card.
When you order a beer, a deposit of €1 per cup is charged in addition to the price of the beer. The total purchase price is therefore increased by €1 per cup.
Empty cups cannot be exchanged at the bar. When a cup is empty, it can be put back in one of the deposit tubes or you can choose to donate the deposit to the Tous Mauves project by placing the cup in the Charity Tube.
The RFID chips of all correctly returned cups (on match day) will be read in the deposit tube, leading to the correction of the original payment within 5 business days on to the bank card used to pay the deposit. Cups paid and returned at a later match will no longer be reimbursed.
For example, for one beer you pay €4.90, when the cup is returned correctly you will see that only €3.90 is withdrawn from the bank account in the end and you have thereby recovered the deposit of €1.
Each cup contains an RFID chip that is linked to the bank card at the time of payment. If the cup is returned afterwards, the purchaser will be refunded the deposit, regardless of who returns it. Therefore, no one can retrieve the money on your behalf. However, avoid losing your cup(s), as the refund can only occur through the deposit tube.
