Last Saturday, Sporting officially kicked off their preparation for the new season against KSV Oudenaarde. The Mauves, for the first time in this season's new away shirts, won 0-5 against the 2nd Amateur A team.
In the coming weeks, a number of international friendlies are scheduled to prepare RSCA for the league start against Union on Friday 28 July. All friendlies can be follow live on Mauve TV:
- Saturday 1 July: RSCA - FCSB (2x 60')
- Friday 7 July: RSCA - Lokomotiva Zagreb (2x 45')
- Friday 14 July: Sparta Prague - RSCA (3x 45')
- Saturday 22 July: Gala match: RSCA - AFC Ajax (2x 45')
The match against Sparta Prague will be played in Austria during the annual summer camp. Sporting will be travelling to Villach for the summer camp between 8 and 15 July, where it has two training sessions on its daily schedule. The day after the match, the team travels back to Brussels.
One week before the start of the season, the gala match against AFC Ajax is scheduled. The gala match will be accompanied by the first fanday since Covid. Expect a great day in and around Lotto Park. Registration for the fanday is free, tickets for the match are on sale here for €10.
The friendlies will be played behind closed doors. As always, fans need not miss a minute of pre-season. All matches can be watched live on Mauve TV, the video platform for fans of RSCA.
