On Sunday 5 November, RSCA will receive the Club Brugge rivals at the Astridpark. During the weekly press conference, coach Hein Vanhaezebrouck looked back on the Champions League away match in Paris, and talked about the league match against the current leader.
"The game against Club Brugge will be very important for us, maybe twice as important as for them", Vanhaezebrouck analysed Sunday’s top match. "They are leading, so you have to take advantage of the head-to-head matches to overtake them. At home, we have to try and not lose any more points. In the matches against KRC Genk and, before my arrival, against STVV, we did not manage to do so, but this has to be our goal now. Against Paris Saint-Germain, I felt we were missing some pride. We have to let our opponents feel our presence. The pride and love for our colours have to be present against Club Brugge, the fans demand that as well."
The coach also briefly talked about the injured players. "I don’t know if Uros Spajic will be ready on Sunday, but if not he will definitely be there the next league match. He has twisted his ankle, but it is less severe that we thought at first. Furthermore, I can count on the entire group, except for the long-term injured players."
