On Sunday 10 December RSC Anderlecht will receive Sporting Charleroi at the Constant Vanden Stock Stadium. The Carolos have been second on the league table for a while, but the Purple & White can take over their position with a victory. Coach Hein Vanhaezebrouck does not underestimate the visitors, he stated during the press conference.
"Our football is not 100% yet, but I notice that we are moving forward", Vanhaezebrouck analysed the club’s latest achievements. "Charleroi is also doing well. They started the competition well, fell back a bit, but now they are on a roll. I already see them as part of Play-Off I, but it’s too soon to say if they are rivals for the title. I know that Felice Mazzu takes a lot of points against me, but fortunately there is no table for coaches. But Charleroi is a difficult team to take on. I think they have never had such a balanced squad as this season. Even after they had to let go some key players, they still have lads who can make the difference. They did some good transfers, so there are no weak spots. Of their 35 points, they took 18 at home and 17 away, so they are also dangerous away."
