About 200 business-clients came to the Lotto Park on Thursday evening to enjoy Royal Sporting Club Anderlecht's yearly New Year's Event. The perfect opportunity to look back on past year and to celebrate some important achievements together.
Upon the arrival, our guests were welcomed in style. In the parking lot, the players' bus doors swung open, after which the red carpet led through the atmospherically lit pitch towards the players' tunnel and the dressing room. Belgium's biggest business club was astonished when none other then Jan Vertonghen, Thorgan Hazard, Theo Leoni, Mats Rits en Colin Coosemans were waiting for them there. Together with Laura De Neve, Silke Vanwynsberghe, Milla Majasaari and Juliette Vidal of the RSCA Woman, they took the time to take selfies with everyone.
From there, it went straight to the reception at the Martini Bar, where CEO Non-Sports Kenneth Bornauw presented the balance sheet of 2023. The achievements of important milestones were celebrated, for example the financial recovery, record sales of shirts & season tickets and the revamped stadium experience. From then on, it was the turn of CEO Sports Jesper Fredberg and chairman Wouter Vandenhaute to explain the sports side and its improvement. As always, the gastronomy was not to be missed: for this event chef Benjamin Schyns transformed his menu into a refined walking dinner. The evening ended dancing thanks to the energizing concert by The Philips and its great selection of 60 years of pop music.
While everyone is still reminiscing the extremely succesfull New Year's Drink, the Lotto Park is already getting ready for the home game against STVV. This Sunday, the Grand Place restaurant will be the ideal Valentine's setting. A table for two, including a surprise and a digestive at half-time, can now be booked at a competitive price.
