Internship Opportunity: Academy operations support

About the role:

The RSCA Youth Academy is offering an exciting (unpaid) internship opportunity for motivated individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in the day-to-day operations of a professional football club. As an Academy Support Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting the operations and management team within the academy. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of future football stars while gaining valuable insights into the workings of a top-tier football organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the daily coordination of the Youth Academy's operations.
• Process and analyze data related to player performance, training schedules, and other key metrics using tools like Power BI.
• Support in organizing events, workshops and meetings.
• Help maintain accurate records and databases to ensure smooth operational flow.
• Collaborate with various departments within the academy to streamline processes.
• Assist in creating reports and presentations for the management team.
• Provide general administrative support as needed.

Learning Opportunities:

• Gain an in-depth understanding of how a professional football club operates on a daily basis.
• Develop skills in sports management, data analysis, and operational processes.
• Learn how to use data-driven tools like Power BI to enhance decision-making in a sports environment.

Requirements:

• Being a Student in higher education or University, Business management or sportsmanagement is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to identify and solve problems effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in Fench or Dutch and English.
• Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Power BI.
• A passion for football and a keen interest in sports management.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
