Next weekend, the national championships take a break. Once again, many players have left to join their national teams for a week. Check out all our internationals below. From the A team to the youth teams.
The Red Devils have two qualifiers for Euro 2024 in Germany. After three matches, the Belgians are second, three points behind Austria (who have played a game more), and they will be hoping to take a step towards qualification when they travel to Azerbaijan (Saturday 09/09 at 3pm) and host Estonia (Tuesday 12/09 at 8.45pm). As in the previous round, Zeno Debast and Jan Vertonghen are in Domenico Tedesco's squad.
Thomas Delaney, Ludwig Augustinsson and Amadou Diawara have also left to join their national teams. Denmark will host San Marino (Thursday 07/09 at 20:45) and travel to Finland (Sunday 10/09 at 18:00) as part of the Euros. Denmark's indisputable No1, Kasper Schmeichel, who signed a contract with RSCA on Tuesday evening, was able to tell Thomas Delaney the good news in person. In Belgium's group, Sweden play Estonia (Saturday 09/09 at 6pm) before hosting Austria (Tuesday 12/09 at 8.45pm). Guinea will play just one CAN qualifier against Malawi (Saturday 09/09 at 3pm).
Three members of the A team are in U21 squads. Killian Sardella and Mario Stroeykens will join Belgium for a qualifier for Euro Under-21 2025. Drawn in a group with Spain, they will face Kazakhstan at home (Monday 11/09, 8pm, Leuven). With Norway, Kristian Arnstad will play two games in the same context. First away to San Marino (Thursday 07/09 at 6pm) before hosting Latvia (Tuesday 12/09 at 6pm).
