This Monday, Belgium's head coach Roberto Martinez announced his preselection of 26 players for the European Championship this summer. He also announced a list of 11 reserve players who are to stay stand-by before the final selection of Red Devils is made.
In that list of reserves, Albert Sambi Lokonga and Yari Verschaeren represent RSC Anderlecht. The wide selection of Red Devils consists of 8 players Made in Neerpede: next to Yari and Albert, Romelu Lukaku, Leander Dendoncker, Dennis Praet, Dries Mertens, Youri Tielemans and Jeremy Doku have a past at RSCA.
The U21 coach Jacky Mathijssen also announced his selection for the interational game of the U21's against Kazachstan. Following RSC Anderlecht players are part of the squad for Belgium: Marco Kana, Lucas Lissens, Killian Sardella, Anouar Ait El Hadj and Yari Verschaeren.
