Everyone who has attended the Lotto Park will have noticed it: the stadium is buzzing. In a recent survey, season ticket holders rated their stadium experience 4.7 out of 5.
Partly responsible for this unique atmosphere is the cooperation between Sporting and the music temple Ancienne Belgique. The Belgian-Brussels cultural house puts together a carefully curated playlist for each match to set the musical tone at the Lotto Park.
This way, each match has its musical translation. With a focus on Brussels artists in the derbies against RWDM and Union, for example, or a nostalgic look back at the music from Paul Van Himst's heydays during his celebration against KV Mechelen.
Fans can discover the music in the stadium, and can re-listen to the playlist on Spotify. More than 2,500 fans are already following Sound of the Stadium on the club’s platform. Fans who discover new artists this way can immediately book a gig at AB thanks to a weekly highlighted artist.
