RSC Anderlecht welcomes Samuel Ikechukwu Edozie. The 21-year-old English winger is loaned from Southampton for one season.
Samuel is a promising winger who enjoyed his formation at Millwall. In the summer of 2019, Manchester City snatched him away. Samuel made his debut with the Citizens in the FA Community Shield in August 2021 at the age of 18.
A year later, in September 2022, Edozie signed a five-year contract at Southampton. His Premier League debut followed a few days later. Since then, Edozie has played 63 games for the Saints' first team, 19 of them in the Premier League.
With six goals and three assists, he already contributed to Southampton's promotion to the Premier League last season. This season, Samuel played in Southampton's first three games in the top flight.
Samuel is also an English youth international and was part of the national selection for the U20 World Cup in the summer of 2023.
