Justin Merz is RSCA’s new goalkeeper coach. The German 30-year old joins us from Hoffenheim.
Before joining Hoffenheim as the goalkeeper coach of the second team, Justin had been working at FC Union Berlin since 2017 where he was the Head of Goalkeeping at the Academy. He coached the U19’s and began to coach in the first team as well. Before his time at FC Union Berlin, he worked as a coach at Hertha BSC Berlin’s Soccer Academy.
As a player, Justin was formed at Stuttgart Kickers and later played for teams such as Karlsruher SC, Viktoria Berlin and FC Union Berlin. He was also part of the U20’s National Team of Ireland, having both the Irish and German nationality.
