Our U23s will soon be playing their first season at professional level in 1B. A perfect intermediate step in their development to eventually make it to the first team.
To assist our youngsters in their development, a fan favourite returns home. Guillaume Gillet will provide an injection of quality, experience and leadership in the dressing room of our young talents. He signed a one season contract as a player for the U23 team.
Gillet played no less than 330 matches in purple & white between 2008 and 2016 and conquered 4 national titles, 3 Supercups and 1 Cup with RSC Anderlecht. His playing career then led him to SC Bastia, FC Nantes, Olympiakos and RC Lens. On his return to Belgium, Gillet also played for RSC Charleroi and Waasland-Beveren.
