Federico Gattoni is our new central defender. The 24-year-old Argentine joins us on loan from Sevilla until the end of the season.
Federico enjoyed his formation in his homeland at San Lorenzo. He joined Los Santos at the age of 7 and went on to make his debut for the first team in October 2020. By then, he had also played his first matches as a youth international for Argentina.
In the 2021-2022 season, Federico developed into a star performer at the back for San Lorenzo. He played 25 of 27 games and wore the captain's armband. It earned him a transfer to Spain's Sevilla FC in the summer of 2023. He didn't get many playing minutes there yet, but did manage to score in the Copa Del Rey. Federico will now reinforce our defense for the next 6 months.
