David will oversee the performance departments of the club
RSC Anderlecht welcomes David Cosgrave (46) as Performance Director. David leaves Orlando City SC in the MLS, after working at clubs the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool FC, Stoke City, Fulham FC and FC Copenhagen.
The Irishman makes the move to RSC Anderlecht with immediate effect, bringing vast experience and strategic leadership. With Lead Physio Niels Mathieu, Medical Coordinator Luc Vanden Bossche & Performance Coach Dries Bloemen managing the daily operations of medical and physical performance, David will take on the strategic leadership of performance and operations around the first team.
David worked in the Premier League for over 12 years, after which he joined FC Copenhagen from 2014 to 2021. With the top Danish club, he won 3 titles and 3 cups and experienced 6 European campaigns, including the Champions League in 2016-2017. After a spell at the Right To Dream Academy, he moved to Orlando City to work in the MLS as a Senior Director. With Orlando, he won the US Open Cup, regularly participated in the MLS Playoffs and twice qualified for the CONCACAF Champions Cup.
