Anouar Ait El Hadj is leaving RSC Anderlecht. The young Belgian midfielder decided to take on a new challenge after more than 10 years at our club. He’s leaving on a permanent transfer to KRC Genk.
Born in Molenbeek in 2002, Anouar found his home at Neerpede at the age of 10. Part of a talented generation that included Killian Sardella, Marco Kana and Jeremy Doku, he went through Neerpede's youth ranks where he impressed with his excellent technical skills and running ability.
Anou made his debut in the first team in 2019. "Immensely proud to be able to play for the club of my heart," he said later. His excellent 20/21 season saw him rewarded with a nomination for Talent of the Year.
At 20, Anouar is leaving Sporting, but he will always find a home in Neerpede.
Anouar Ait El Hadj:
"This is a very difficult decision. I came here as a little boy and they made a man out of me here. All the coaches, the staff, all the players,... I am so grateful to Anderlecht for everything it has given me. Anderlecht is the club of my heart. But I think the best choice now is to start a new challenge in a different environment."
Bon vent, Ket.
