RSCA Futsal on their way to Lisbon

RSCA Futsal takes part in the elite round of the Champions League during this week. The Mauve & Blanc will notably face Sporting Portugal, last year's finalists.

RSCA Futsal took off for Lisbon on Tuesday morning. There, they will face Sporting Portugal (Portugal), Loznica-Grad (Serbia) and Haladas VSE (Hungary). At this stage of the competition, only 16 teams remain.

In the main round, the previous round, RSCA Futsal managed to qualify with 6 points in 3 games, after facing Barça.

The main goal is to qualify for the Final Four, the last stage of the competition, in which only four teams remain. This will be played at the end of April, in a host city yet to be decided. Only the winner of the elite round group qualifies for the Final Four.

Cristiano Marques, RSCA Futsal goalkeeper: "Sporting have reached the Champions League final four times in the last five years. Last May, they beat us by a huge scoreline in the semi-final of the Final Four. Winning against Sporting would be some feat for RSC Anderlecht."

Match reports and goals can be found on the RSCA Futsal social media after the games.

Come on you Mauves!
