Sporting played this afternoon at Neerpede against second division club Patro Eisden Maasmechelen. Sporting won the friendly game 1-0 after a goal by Angulo.
Sporting played a dominant game in the blazing sun against the troops of Stijn Stijnen and assistant coach Luc Nilis. Right from the start, RSC Anderlecht showed a lot of initiative. Nilson Angulo opened the score after 11 minutes. In the first half, Mario Stroeykens and Anders Dreyer also made themselves noticed with some good attempts.
In the second half, many players from the RSCA Futures got a chance. Our Futures immediately made themselves noticed: Moutha-Sebtaoui kicked into the hands of goalkeeper Justin Verlinden after an attack in which Luca Monticelli and Tristan Degreef also had a foot. Moreover, Kristian Arnstad with a kick on the crossbar and Colin Coosemans with a good save made themselves noticed as well.
